Orbis support Kidsout, a charity that gives disadvantaged kids positive experiences to support them becoming future members of our society.

This year, it is not possible for Kidsout to hold its annual fundraiser black tie events. This has led to a significant funding shortfall and a requirement to try to raise funds in imaginative and fun ways.  Seeing as the ball cannot happen in person, the charity is going to bring the event to everyone’s homes through a live stream on YouTube and the Kidsout website. It is on Thursday 30th July from 7.30 pm – 9.00pm (BST).

The event is called Have a Ball at Home and KidsOut have commissioned a short video which can be viewed by clicking here.

Chris Tarrant will host with guest appearances from Tony Hadley, a specially commissioned menu from Great British Menu chef Adam Simmonds which you can cook along at home with, plus music, entertainment and an auction on the night.

The charity is the only one that supports every child who are victims of domestic abuse living in a refuge. During the COVID crisis, KidsOut have been providing food vouchers, toys parcels, technology for education and memorable events for the families who have faced physical, emotional and sexual abuse.

Please sign up for the event at www.kidsout.org.uk/haveaballathome. Ticket prices start from only £30 per household. Even if you can’t make it then please consider donating to the cause by clicking this link https://kidsoutuk.charitycheckout.co.uk/HABAH#!/
