Commercial Collection Services Limited (CCS) was established in the 1970’s and is a leading provider of specialist consumer, commercial, litigation, tracing and field services.
CCS work with a variety of clients including a number of government departments, utilities and debt purchasers.
The experience that Orbis have provided, through completing a number of deals in the debt collection sector, was invaluable in guiding us through a complicated deal process. Orbis worked diligently over a very long period and never gave up, ultimately delivering a great outcome for the Shareholders.

OUR ROLE
The shareholders at CCS had been absent from the day to day detail of the Company for some time and therefore needed an experienced team alongside them. Orbis acted as lead advisor on the sale of CCS to its management team.
Specifically, Orbis:
- Originated and led the deal process.
- Negotiated and agreed the deal on behalf of the shareholders.
- Prepared an in-depth working capital and net debt analysis to maximise net proceeds at completion.
- Managed the transaction to completion through the legal process.
