Orbis has advised NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant, on its acquisition of the Wolverhampton-based KGJ Insurance Services Group (KGJ).

NFP is a leading insurance broker and consultant providing specialised property and casualty, corporate benefits, retirement and individual solutions. KGJ specialises in combined risks for complex and non-standard programs, with expertise in marine insurance, and provides access to restricted markets through various wholesale brokerages.

The acquisition strengthens NFP’s market position in the Midlands region and expands specialty expertise for clients in Europe.

Orbis provided acquisition support to NFP and was led by Chris Gregory, Partner. Legal advice on the transaction was provided by Gateley Legal, led by partner and head of the corporate team, Tom Durrant.

We have worked with NFP for a number of years and were pleased to be able to provide advice and support on this latest acquisition. This acquisition will enhance the NFP service offering to clients and further build its profile in the Midlands region.
