Vicki Conway

Vicki joined Orbis as General Counsel in 2018. She qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and spent the next 20 years specialising in corporate restructuring and turnaround. She then diversified into private equity and corporate finance, working in both London and Birmingham.

In the last 5 years, Vicki has worked on a number of acquisitions for funds and individual investors, sometimes culminating in managing the sale transaction too.

Prior to her career at Orbis, Vicki was a partner at Wragge & Co LLP (now Gowling WLG) heading up the national restructuring team, working in a wide variety of industry sectors acting for the Big4 accountants and major high street banks as well as advising boards of directors.

Vicki’s qualifications include a law degree, the solicitors’ final exams as well as an MBA. More recently she qualified as a project manager (specialising in legal project management) and has gained ICSA company secretarial qualifications.
