Orbis Partners have advised on the sale of Make My Blinds to Decora.

Makemyblinds.co.uk was established in Bristol in 2017, offering a comprehensive selection of window blinds online to consumers across the UK.

Decora is a manufacturer and retailer of blinds and is based in Northern Ireland. Backed by private equity firm BGF, Decora has grown organically and through acquisitions across Europe. Make My Blinds strengthens Decora’s online offering, particularly in the UK.

Orbis were engaged to sell Make My Blinds having previously worked with the owners. Make My Blinds had built a strong relationship with one of its key suppliers, Decora. Bringing the two businesses together made perfect sense, enabling the combined businesses to have complete control of the manufacturing, delivery, sales, marketing and customer experience.

Having known Ryan and James for many years, it was a great pleasure to help them complete this transaction.  The deal made perfect sense – a great commercial and cultural fit.  We wish the team all the best for the next chapter.
