Toby Arrowsmith

Toby is a Director at Orbis having joined the team at Invex Partners in 2001.

He has focused on MBOs, MBIs and BIMBOs across a wide range of industry sectors, working closely with management teams in owner managed businesses.

Toby is also a Director of Intrinsic Equity, the investment vehicle of Orbis Partners, investing in and supporting businesses requiring development capital or in distressed situations.

He is currently non-executive director of Homes Caring for Autism, iESCo and Laidlaw and is part of the senior management teams at Abacus and Storm Games. He was shortlisted for Midlands Insider Young Dealmaker of the Year 2011 and has helped Intrinsic win Midlands Turnaround Team of the Year for the last six years.

Prior to his career in corporate finance, Toby has worked for both a Big 4 and a regional firm of chartered accountants in the audit and specialist projects departments. He is ACA qualified, has a master’s degree in chemical engineering and is a member of the Institute for Turnaround.
