The group was backed by Clydesdale Bank to allow the business to enter its next phase of growth. Orbis Partners completed the financial due diligence for the transaction, reporting directly to Clydesdale Bank.
Orbis were engaged by Spicerhaart and HSBC to undertake financial due diligence on BJB and to provide acquisition support services to Spicerhaart.
Bristow & Sutor is a highly-respected nationwide judicial services and debt recovery group. Orbis were retained to evaluate different exit options on behalf of the company. Orbis identified Sovereign Capital as an ideal partner allowing the founder Simon Sutor, to step back from day-to-day operations whilst the management team lead an MBO to further develop the business’ service offering and client base.
Commercial Collection Services Limited work with a variety of clients including a number of government departments, utilities and debt purchasers. Orbis acted as lead advisor on the sale of CCS to its management team.
Lean Education and Development Limited is a national provider of accredited vocational learning and development programmes. Over a 24-month period, Orbis worked closely with the shareholders to explore a number of options including a potential trade sale.
